ASTRE (AnimalS, health, Territories, Risks, Ecosystems) is a pluridisciplinary research unit of CIRAD and INRA focused on improving animal health, public health and food security in the South. 

ASTRE aims at providing solutions to sanitary issues associated to animal productions and to the human-animal-environment interface. The unit studies health within evolving socio-ecosystems and proposes tools to better understand, monitor and manage it.
