The OIE Reference Laboratory network for PPR is a new platform open to all laboratories actively performing PPR diagnostics. It is managed by the three OIE Reference Laboratories for PPR (CIRAD, Pirbright Institute, and China Animal Health and Epidemiology Center). It was officially launched by the OIE in November 2020. Members of the EURL-PPR network will be automatically added as members of this new network.

By promoting information exchange and facilitating access to services among its members, the network aims at fostering high quality and harmonised laboratory performance across the PPR  diagnostic lab community, thereby supporting the global PPR eradication effort.

Through its website and workshops, it provides regularly-updated information on protocols, vaccines, reference material, training, proficiency tests, diagnostic services and expertise available to the community.
